Exhaling

What. A. Weekend.
I can't even begin to drum up the proper words to describe all that happened, not just in physical realms, but in spiritual and internal realms as well.
Fear not, I will share.

Right now I am basking in the glow of everything.
Every tear. Every laugh. Every hug. Every new face. Every familiar face.
Every detail. Every fragrance. Every sound.
I am releasing a long, slow, deep breath that has been building up and held in for years.
Exhaling.
It feels so good to finally let it all out.

Before I can share I need to get my technical act together.
You see, sentimental and nostalgic me has filled up 314+ GB of 300GB of storage on our dear old Mac Book.
What exactly does that mean, you ask?
In just a little over 3 years I have managed to create 343 events containing a whopping total of 23,898 pictures, not counting those taken over the past month, in iPhoto.
I haven't had the storage to upload!
Not to mention the fact that I've already filled up 2 external hard drives with photos taken before 3 years ago.

Brandon is very amused by all of this, thankfully.
He was a true gent and bought me an external hard drive as well as 32 and 64 GB memory cards for my camera.
I'm out of control.
THANK GOD there are intelligent folks who keep inventing products that can store more data!
The icing on the cake was that he followed all of this up by saying, "I'll try to work on getting you a new Mac Book soon, babe."
He is a dream-on most occasions. :)

To which I responded, "I should be really good for a while now, babe!"
"I don't need a new computer-this one works just fine, most of the time. I just needed more storage."
Let's face it, I'm certainly not about to reduce the amount of photographs I take.
So, as soon as I can get myself organized mentally and technically, I'll try to adequately share the love of God, The Pearl Event.

  1. Cherish,

You are so beautiful!! I can't wait to hear all about the Pearl Event and I'm so sad that I didn't get to make it this year! I would love to hear you speak sometime and hear your testimony. Your blog is truly a blessing to me! In a blogging world of girls blogging about pointless topics-you continually point to Christ and that radiates through every aspect of your life! I feel like we are best friends without ever meeting, yet! :)

    1. Katelyn, your sweet comments just leave me floored! Thank you! You are so precious! I would love to meet and hopefully you can hear me speak some time, too. You have encouraged me more than you know. I often wonder how those "pointless topics" bloggers have such a strong following...it's strange. I guess folks just want to look at random pictures and zone out? Who knows. Anyway, thank you for your words and for reading and being such a real person. I love that! :) xoxo

  2. Cherish,

So enjoyed meeting you and hearing your testimony. You may NEVER know who you ministered too, but I know Jesus is pleased that you pointed to HIM with your words. I love your heart and your honesty and how you just put it all out there and TRUSTED HIM!!!

You know I told you I KNOW how to pray for you....warm that monogram machine up girlie 'cause you are going to NEED IT!!

    Much Much love, Angela/Nonny

    1. Cherish,
What a touching testimony you shared at the Pearl Event! I know it did your heart and soul good to get it out. I felt God in that room and I know He was giving you the strength you needed as you spoke. You have such a beautiful, southern soul! God Bless You and your hubby! I know God will give you the desires of your heart. Remember He hears and answers all of our prayers. I felt such a kindred spirit with you and will share my story with you soon.
      In Christian Love,
      Kristy :)

  5. Cherish, I am so very thankful to have gotten to meet you and to hear your testimony of faith at the Pearl Event III. Your faith is a true testament to the amazing love that God shines through each of us when we put our trust in him. His light shines very brightly through you not just through your gifts and talents but also through your very essence and being. As I listened to you I felt that I experienced God right there in the flesh as he filled you with his spirit and spoke love and redemption through your words. Keep shining brightly, dear friend, you are a precious gift and your story brings hope, peace and love to others.
