Callaway Gardens: Azaleas

This week I went to Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia to see the azaleas and other flowers blooming.
People come from all over to see this incredible beauty every spring.
They are known for their native azaleas.
Some of our best friends live about 15 min. from there, which is about an hour fifteen minutes from our house, so while I was visiting with them this week we went to the gardens for an afternoon.
I took so many pictures because everything was so beautiful.
My best friend, Meg, the beautiful mother of our Godchildren.
Meg's beautiful mom, Helen, who is also my other mother.
If there ever were kindred spirits in the world, she and I are the epitome.
Baby Ellie getting sugar from her Mama.
She was so good all afternoon-I think she enjoyed our girls day out on her one month birthday.
There is a beautiful chapel at Callaway, too.
Meg and I fell in love with this orchid tree.
What a perfect afternoon. The flowers were gorgeous, the company was delightful and we were all inspired.
God is an artist. I say that every. single. day.
Also, Happy Master's Weekend! Georgia is a beautiful sight to behold in the Spring.
The Master's in Augusta, which is on the eastern border, is known for their gorgeous azaleas, too.

  6. Oh my word! I suspect that that is what the Garden of Eden lloked like, don't you?
Of course...anyplace looks heavenly when graced by a baby.
If we would stop getting snow long enough here in Colorado, I bet it might start to look like Spring here too.

    1. Also, where did you find your mono rockers? We are looking at a new house in Athens, AL today and they would look great on the new front porch!!!

    2. Hey Michelle! I certainly don't mind if you use one of my pictures! :) The only thing I ask is that you include a caption below it of the address to this specific page for copyright purposes. As for the monogrammed rockers, the chairs are from Lowe's, and the monogram is a vinyl monogram made using the Silhouette machine. It was super cheap and easy to apply. You can order those vinyl monograms from several places-look on Etsy. :) Good luck house hunting!! Have a blessed day! xoxo
