Here are some more pictures from Ellie's first week:
I took some of her nursery right before they brought her home. I got her the bumper set years ago and she is finally able to use it! I think it's just darling.
This is the treasure chest full of monogrammed goodies that we gave her. Heaven help me I think I'm going to be out of control when it comes to this sweet girl.
Sunday we drove back over to visit for a while. Brandon hadn't been able to come over last Sunday when she was born because he had so many hospitalized patients to treat.
Meeting her Uncle Brandon for the first time. He couldn't get over how tiny she was! He kept saying, "She looked bigger in the pictures you sent me!"
I thought I'd share a few pictures of the boys' room. It was inspired by the Pottery Barn kids Star Wars theme. Meg's mama is a talented artist and she painted the constellations and murals in this room as well as the tree in Ellie's room. There are glow in the dark stars all over the ceiling, so it's a really cool boy's room.
Sunday afternoon Phil and Brandon just spent some time together with the boys on the farm. They hit golf balls and went fishing and played with the dogs. We took all 4 of our dogs with us and they had a big time playing with their dogs and swimming in the pond.
Sweetie, the General Beauregard and Bayla after a swim in the pond.
For supper Meg's mama was such a dear and made shamrock green stuff pasta with a homemade bacon alfredo sauce, greek salad and garlic bread with carrot cake and ice cream for dessert. That was after bringing us all a big spread of a lunch from KFC after church. She spoils us rotten, I tell you. Then, to top it all off, she really takes my breath away by speaking my language and giving me a beautiful Jane Magnolia tree. Bee knows how I've been working on a big landscaping project and she gave me a gift that I can always look at and be reminded of her.
