Easter Decor

I'm back at it with my holiday decor photos.
I love Easter for so many reasons.
I'll share that in another post, but clearly what I love most about it is that Jesus gave up His life on a cross for you and for me.
I need a moment after that. It hits me right in the heart.
I love that Easter seems to be when Spring officially ignites here in the South.
Trees are budding and flowers are blooming.
Right now our camellias, azaleas, tulips, and cherry trees are beginning to burst forth with colorful life.
Pink life, specifically, at our home.
This makes my heart so full.
It doesn't take much money to make a room look special. I always look to nature first and then fill in the gaps. I use what I have on hand, but I just try to change things up to create a fresh look.
I love looking at beautiful pictures in magazines and seeing what others have chosen for their homes.
As with most holiday decor, I love a natural color palette and nothing too over the top.
I mainly just decorate our dining room table, foyer, and breakfast room table.
The Foyer:
Brandon's mom stitched these precious little eggs when her boys were little and she has passed them on to me. I just love them. They are a treasure. It's extra sweet to see Brandon's name stitched on one.
On to the breakfast room table. Nothing outrageous, just simple.
 My beloved chalkboard:
This verse says it all, doesn't it?

    1. Thank you, Sam!! I actually haven't used chalk markers yet, just regular chalk. It's the first time I've written on it and I was just playing around with it, but I plan on trying the markers out soon! Have a lovely day! xoxo

  11. Your decor is beautiful! I feel spring when I look at those pictures. I totally agree with you about Easter and how we get this new bright season around the same time we celebrate the Resurrection.

I MUST know where you got that deviled-egg plate?! I'm in love!

    1. Thank you, Jenna! You are such a doll! Thank you for your sweet words and for following! :) I consider you friends, not followers. :) I wish I could tell you where the plate came from but it's vintage and was passed down to me from my mama. I have seen a white one in an antique store once and I could kick myself for not getting it. Lesson learned! I hope you have a lovely Easter! xoxo

  13. Lovely decorations, Cherish! Those tulips are gorgeous...did you grow those yourself? You must have a much greener thumb than me. All I have to do is look at a plant, and it dies. Maybe with time I'll get better.

I love how your Easter is focused on what really matters. :) Enjoy it on Sunday!

    1. Thank you SO much, Suzanne!! I did not grow those tulips-mine are actually just beginning to bloom. Gardening takes patience and care and I think anyone who wants to can acquire a green thumb in time. :) You have what it takes!! I hope you had a blessed Easter!! xoxo
