Warm Weather Fashion Deals

I don't usually shop much during cold weather months because I simply don't care for the cold weather. I love the sunshine and warmth and bright colors of Spring and Summer. I've also cut back on my "retail therapy" because we are trying to follow a budget to achieve some financial goals we have this year. Plus, we've also been spending a little more this year on landscaping and home improvement projects. But, when I do come across a good deal I usually don't pass it up. I can always return it later if it's not all it was cracked up to be in my mind. These are some fashion deals I've found over the past 3 months that I wanted to share with y'all.
For some reason I've found several pairs of sandals/shoes that I fell in love with. I've had a shoe drought for about a year now because I'm really picky about shoes, but suddenly I found everything I had been looking for. Here is the lineup: (please ignore my feet!!)
Peach "Me Too" brand sandals with gold trim were $29.99 at Marshall's. I consider this a splurge, but I knew I couldn't find any that were this similar and as high of quality for this price. They have quilted padding for added comfort. They also had them in black, but I already have a few pairs of black sandals.
Black patent and gold "Tommy Hilfiger" brand wedges were on clearance for $11.00 at Marshall's. I wasn't too sure about them just looking at them on the shelf, but once I tried them on I fell in love. They are actually pretty comfy. I loved the stripes on the wedges.
Cognac leather "Steve Madden" brand wedge sandals from DSW. They were marked for $49.95 with an additional 80% off!!! So, they were around $10. I bought two pairs. This pair and a gray leather pair. I already had the black canvas pair that I had gotten on sale for $15 at Marshall's last September, and I knew how much I loved them. I've worn them to tailgates and football games with ease. They run a little big, so I got 1/2 a size down.
Champagne leather slip on "Impo" brand loafers from TJ Maxx for $24.99. I consider these a splurge, too, but my purse is the same exact color and material and they are so classic and versatile.
White skinny jeans from TJ Maxx for $14.99. I looked everywhere last summer for a pair of these, and I just couldn't find any that fit me good. So, at $15 these were long enough, not see-through, and a winner!
Watermelon blouse from TJ Maxx for $14.99.  I have this same shirt in black and white and I just love it!!  This color is unique and goes perfect with those white skinnies, traditional denim, or black.
Turquoise and white tie-dye light weight "Verve" brand sweater from TJ Maxx for $24.99. I love everything about this, and even though it was a bit more expensive than I preferred, I knew it would be a staple in my wardrobe for a long time.
Mint ribbed scarf from TJ Maxx for $12.99. I LOVE this baby!! It is longer than most scarves, which is perfect for me because I'm on the tall side. It's light weight and is the perfect shade of mint. It goes great with a multitude of blouses, sweaters, and dresses.
Have y'all found any good deals lately? PS-if you don't have a TJX Rewards card you should definitely apply for one! I use mine every time I make a purchase at TJ Maxx, Marshall's, or Home Goods, and for every $200 you spend you get $10 in reward money, which basically means you get 5% off of every purchase. I don't go nuts with mine and I always pay it off every single month just as we do every single credit card we have, but it's great to get that reward money. It's especially great for me because clearly I purchase almost everything I own from those stores because it's so much more affordable. Happy Wednesday!

    1. That's great, Caitlin!! I'm glad you've had success at those stores. It's so therapeutic for me to go in there and zone out and pilfer through the racks to see what kind of a gem I can find. :) A lot of people tell me they don't have the patience to shop at those store, but if they could find some they would save a lot of $$. Have a great day! xoxo

  3. I love the Steve Madden shoes, I have the brown pair and love them. I had them on all the time last summer because they work well with so much. TJ's and Marshalls are my 1 stop shop most of the time. I love the thrill of finding a great deal or bargain. And you're right the rewards card is awesome, esp since you can use it elsewhere as a regular credit card and gain points too.

    1. Yes! Look at DSW, too, if you have one. That's were I found the 2 $10 pairs. They may have them at an Off Broadway Shoes, too, but we don't have one nearby. Hope your trip to TJ's was a success!! xoxo

  5. Super cute finds, girl! I especially love those white jeans and the scarf! Those shoes are unbelieveably cheap and so cute, too! I love finding good deals. BTW-- I was at the thrift store yesterday and saw a fleece to monogram but it was too darn small. I will keep trying! Seeing yours has only made me want one that much more! haha

  8. I'm so glad you admit that some of the $25 items were splurges! I see girls on blogs that talk about spending $250 for one dress and I just can't spend that kind of money on clothes! I like how you're able to make an adorable outfit out of some great budget-friendly pieces.

    1. Sarah, I am SO with you on this!! I don't know how in this world people afford to spend that kind of $$ on clothes. We certainly don't have that kind of money. You know I majored in fashion at UGA and some of the girls were so mean and made fun of me because I didn't wear designer labels from head to toe every day. How dare I major in fashion and not have a million dollar wardrobe?! Those girls also drove high dollar luxury SUV's and swiped Daddy's credit card for everything. That is a life I will never know and quite frankly I don't want to. I'm thankful for the rural upbringing I had and that I understand the value of a dollar. Have a great night! xoxo
