Get Healthy: Month 1 Progress Report

 Okay Ladies, we've been doing our accountability link-up for getting healthy for over a month now and I want to know how you are doing! Have you been able to stick with the eating clean way of life? What about regular exercising? Any changes in weight, mood, energy, muscle, etc.?
The past few weeks have been really crazy around here and I haven't been able to exercise like I want to. Our practice has been super busy and we've been working late hours and wearing ourselves thin. To top it off, one of our best employees was in a terrible care accident and had severe injuries, so she is out of commission for a while, which means that I've had to work at the clinic a lot more than usual. But, we are still eating clean minus eating out a few times celebrating Valentine's and visiting with friends and family over the past few weeks. I am happy to report that my Mama has lost 14 lbs.!!! I am SO proud of her! She has a goal she is trying to reach by her 51st birthday in mid-August. I know she can do it! I am still working on getting those recipes under the recipes tab from our last link-up. I promise I haven't forgotten! Anyway, I am so proud of you all and so thankful for your honesty and you will-power each time we link-up!! I'm having trouble with the linky-tool, and I will have it up as soon as I get it situated, which will probably be sometime this evening or tonight.

  1. I'm at a 7 pound weight loss and my husband is at 17 pounds since we started eating clean 5 weeks ago! I started Zumba and love it! Congrats to your mom!!

  2. I've been doing really well with my resolution to get fit! Last week I had a cold and didn't east as well as I have been (when I don't feel good I have a tendency to stuff my face) and then this week has been crazy and I haven't been able to work out as much as I'd like, but nonetheless I have been doing well and can fit back into some of my old clothes again!

  3. I've only lost 10 pounds, as of today, but I think I have lost inches as my pants are actually getting loose! Yay! I had a 3 day stomach virus so I didn't get in much exercise last week but I'm back at this week. I'm almost through the first phase of ChaLean Extreme! I bought the videos years ago but have never made it past the first phase so I'm looking forward to making it through all 3 phases this time. Thanks for keeping us all accountable. I still hate working out but I also hate when I miss my workouts now!

  4. I'm excited to say that as of March 1st, I've lost 18 pounds! It came off really quickly in the beginning (I think I was bloated, etc. from Christmas and New Years), but it has slowed down a lot since then. But, I am still losing, slowly but surely. I've been battling a cold off and on for a month now, so I haven't been able to be very consistent with my workout routines, but I plan to get serious this week. I'm finally feeling back to my old self, so it's time to work a lot harder in that area. Hopefully, it will jumpstart my weight loss again.

    I'm sorry to hear about your employee's accident. I'll be adding them to my prayer list. Have a great week, Cherish!!

  5. Since our vacation my working out and eating habits haven't been so great, but I am jumping back in. I was down 6 pounds, but gained 3 on vacation and haven't gotten them off, but I will. My goal is to lose 4-6 pounds in the next month. Thanks for the accountability.

  6. Like everyone it seems, life recently has been crazy. i just posted my 1 month recap and thoughts today. I'm on a mission for some new running shoes, that don't break my budget.
