Christmas with My Family

Saturday night we made it to Dahlonega to celebrate Christmas with my Papa.
All the cousins!
Brother and Sister: Josh and Courtney
My handsome Papa! He is still not feeling well from his surgery in August and is having some other personal health issues, so if y'all wouldn't mind keeping him in your prayers I would be so grateful.
He takes so much pride in his home and pays attention to every detail.
They always go all out for Christmas and I love it.
We had deer tenderloin, chicken casserole, macaroni and cheese, green beans, sweet potato souffle, potato salad and deviled eggs.
I think this may have been the first year we've eaten off of Chinet, but we decided over Thanksgiving that it was too much to clean up the dishes for over 20 people because someone always ends up spending time cleaning instead of visiting.
For dessert we had a chocolate trifle, homemade chocolate pie and homemade eggnog cream pie.
Afterward we spent the night at my sister's along with some of my cousins.
That's when we went to look at Christmas lights on the square.
On Sunday after church we went to my Nana's house to celebrate Christmas with her.
Here are the sisters with their kids:
Me and my beautiful sister.
I was standing on the wrong side so I look like a bullfrog.
Please tell me that everyone has a better "side" for the camera.
Us with our beautiful Nana.
Plus our cousin, Courtney.
My Uncle David and Aunt Margie.
Sharon and Greg had already left, so this is of my Nana with 2 of her 3 daughters.
Us with our beautiful Mama.
Me and my love!
Josh and Mama.
Brad, Tiffany, Brandon, Anna and Zack.
Family just hanging out, mainly laughing and talking.
We didn't do gifts this year, as being together is a gift in and of itself.
Me and two of my beautiful cousins, Courtney and Sarah.
Some more family shots, of course, with Rhett and Scarlett, too.
I am so thankful for my family.
I love each of them for their own unique attributes and qualities.
It always seems like the time we spend together goes by entirely too fast.
I feel blessed that I came from such a wonderful family that I want to spend time with.
I hope each of you got to spend time with your families during the holidays, and more importantly that you embraced it and enjoyed it.
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
