A Day in the Life...

...of a mixed animal Veterinarian:
We saw 8 emergencies over Thanksgiving...
which was a blessing as the extra income is needed!
But, that means this Vet is worn out!!
(that black blob is one of our cats, Fidget)
If you see a Veterinarian that takes emergency calls, please be sure to thank him or her.
You have no idea how much it means to them!
"He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows."
Isaiah 30:23

  4. I'm so very grateful for our amazing equine vet who has come out (more than once!) at 2 am to help a maiden mare foal out, check on a suddenly lame horse right before a show, or help when a colicky horse seems to get worse instead of better.

Your husband has a tough job and I admire him for it. :)

  6. I am so thankful for emergency vets, they've fixed up my animals on more than one occasion (most recently, an unfortunate dew claw incident, but my pup got the most adorable green bandage that I think might have hurt more to take off than the dew claw, itself).
