New Job

I have a new temporary part-time job, thank the good Lord!!
It's been over a year since I had a job, and the timing of this opportunity was perfect.
I interviewed back in May and started last week.
No, it's not a "career" job, but it is a very important job.
(My degree from UGA is in Fashion...not going to be doing much with that in the middle of nowhere)
A job that I am all too familiar with...being a nanny/sitter.
I am picking up these two sweet faces from the Christian school where we live every afternoon and spending a few hours helping them with homework, taking them to dance and ball, and giving them lots of love and attention.
It's only been a week and I'm already attached to the kids. How could you not be?
At 4 years old, this girl is Miss Personality and I love it.
She keeps me on  my toes and has the most kissable little face!
At 7 years old, he is more serious and the "big brother." He loves sports and is quite a good athlete.
Their daddy is a professional golfer, so he loves to play golf, too.

Brandon gets off at noon on Wednesdays, so he is going to be joining me on those days.
He loves sports, too, so it works out well.
This past Wednesday they played golf, baseball, football, and swam in just a few hours.
I played along, too, and was worn out by the time we left!
I'm so thankful for this job and for the friends I've made through it-we have had the hardest time meeting people we can "do life with" down here.
The kids' mama is hilarious-love her to death.
Trusting God and being patient over the past year has been difficult at times, but thanks be to Him that He gave me this outlet...finally.
"Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains."
James 5:7
