New Additions

On Saturday afternoon we welcomed these precious babies into our lives and home...
We are still deciding on their names...almost there!
A male Chocolate Lab-German Shorthair Pointer mix, and a
registered female Yellow Lab! I have always wanted a Yellow Lab to go along with a Pug. Next I want another Pug puppy and I want a Coon Hound, too :)

Brandon is more excited about these two than he will be when we have human babies someday.
Lady Vol made sure to keep a safe distance so that she could examine the new additions.

I spent last week in Athens babysitting and packing. My Mama came to help me and we went to Publix to get some boxes and the first one they gave us was this one that reads "Daisy Girl," which is so strange since Daisy is where we are moving our things to.

We loaded up in the back of the truck to drive down the driveway and watch the sunset.
It's hot down here and we still need some rain!
“Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.” 1 Chronicles 29:11

**And just in case you're trying to keep count: 1 Pug, 2 Labs, 2 Farm Dogs, 2 cats, 1 Clinic Cat (he lives with us nights and weekends), and 2 horses** We want some cows, 2 more horses, and a few more dogs, but we need a more long-term plan for settling down first. Yes, we're nuts!**

  17. They are so precious!! I love Labs too, and GSP's! Seeing this really makes me want another dog so Dixie will have a friend to play with. Once we get a bigger yard I would love to add a "new addition"!
