Names

Meet: The General Beauregard "Beau" and Daisy "Bayla Belle!"
After much deliberation I think we have settled on their names. The wonderful thing about registered dogs is that, like racehorses, they get to have really long names. That's great for people like myself who have trouble choosing just one of anything.
I am in love with my sweet Bayla Belle

I may or may not have eaten a bowl of these two for supper tonight...
while watching this beautiful sunset. Hey-it's summertime and the livin' is easy.

Honestly, the livin' hasn't been so easy around here. I don't want to share too much on here for the sake of our privacy, but I want to ask for your prayers. We are struggling. As a married couple and as individuals. Our life seems to be falling apart and we don't know what to do. I want to have faith and I want to overcome this, but it is hard and we are stuck. I am learning that love alone isn't enough sometimes. And please don't misunderstand, I love my husband more than anyone could imagine and I want to fix this.

"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.  "  James 1:12

  9. Pretty names for pretty pups!
And this is one of the things I love most about blogging- you can share your heart and be surrounded by a community of people to support, encourage, and most importantly offer up prayers. Praying for you and Brandon, sweet lady. I know that the two of y'all will work together and work with the Lord to get through this time. Until then, many prayers!

  12. Love the names and the dogs! I cannot wait to get a puppy/dog when we move. Right now it is not worth it living in an apartment. Having a pet makes our rent go us like 200 a month! No thank you! Oh and I would love to have some ice cream/frozen yogurt for dinner. Do you have those frozen yogurt places by you, like Orange Leaf?

  23. Love the names! So cute! Praying for you & Brandon. Marriage is so hard sometimes...it doesn't matter how much you love someone, there are times when it's just so difficult and it makes you start having doubts and fears about all kinds of things. Especially when you are under the types of stress that you've been faced with lately.

So sorry to hear that y'all are in a difficult season of life right now. I've been in a similar place for the past year (marriage & indivudially) and even though it has been awful, I have also learned a lot of things about myself and I've had a ton of eye-opening experiences because of it.

  24. What precious hand fulls y'all have adopted!!!! I know they are tons of work and I so understand the name picking out trouble. Our new furbaby's name (given by the original owners) was better than anything we could come up with.

Please know I am praying for you...we have been married 23 years and seen several hard seasons...prayer is what it is all about! Love you, sweet girl!

  25. Love the names! They're adorable.

Praying for you that the Lord will see you through this time and wrap is loving arms around you and your husband. Loved that verse at the bottom...reminds me of the verse that says through trials, we gain perseverance which builds character and hope. Through Christ all things are possible. Lots of love to you, sweet friend!
