Lately

This is why I have been MIA. I'm sure you can try and understand. Please don't forget about me-I promise I haven't forgotten about you. But, life happens and sometimes some things have to take a backseat, and unfortunately my blog has over the past few weeks. Hopefully all of this nonsense will be over soon and I can get back to doing what I love!  I want to thank each of you for your prayers, encouragement, phone calls, emails, basically for everything. I am blessed beyond belief to have each of you in my life and not a day goes by that I don't thank God for your friendships. We are just taking things day by day and trusting that the Lord will help us work everything out.
How ironic that storms rolled through...
Loaded down-even had to put air in the tires!
My hardworking husband pouring sweat and trying to protect all of my beloved plants. You know how I am about my plants!
Car loaded down...
15 x 15 Storage unit loaded down...I can assure you these smiles were forced for the camera...(PS-I have no ties to the Texas Longhorns-just an old shirt to work in)
Brandon pulling out to make a 3.5 hour drive at night pulling this rig to South Georgia. Thank the Lord he made it safely.
Calm after the storm.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:13

  5. Thinking about you and your hubby!! Moving is so much work. I feel like we have slowly been packing for weeks and things just keep multiplying. It is amazing how many "things" you can accumulate but rarely use!

  12. Oh, I don't envy you that day to say the least! We are heading to GA tomorrow to put our old house on the market (the horrible, horrible real estate market in N. GA) and I think it will be difficult in so many ways. No so much that I was in love with the house there but because of the stress knowing we are going to loose so much $$$ on the deal. :-(

Anyway....LOL....I will be coming to the 'Boro in early August to help move DD into her apartment (yes, she is moving off campus...not sure how I feel about that but what is a worry wart Mama to do???) and I would love to meet you for lunch!!!
