Tacky Christmas Sweater Party

We were invited to a Tacky Christmas Sweater Party and Game Night at our friends, John and Bessy's home in downtown Daisy on Saturday night. It's nice to live only 2 miles from friends! We had so much fun and I really needed to laugh. All things considered I couldn't remember the last time I had a good laugh. I have lost-I mean misplaced-my camera cord, so I can't upload pictures! I know, I'm freaking out about this matter. I had to borrow these pictures Mrs. Lynn uploaded to FB. She takes great pictures anyway :). Since I have been out of commission for a week I scrambled around the Goodwill in Claxton the day of the party and I got the only two Christmas shirts in the whole place. They weren't exactly sweaters, but I figured a scrub top was especially fitting for Brandon considering he was on call that night. And he did get called in. That was interesting! Bessy made some delicious chili and I brought some baked pimiento cheese dip. We played Cranium, Taboo, and another game that I forgot the name of. Anyways, we had a blast and I am dying to upload some of my recent pictures-soon, I hope! I felt much better on Saturday and Sunday, but woke up in the night on Sunday in very severe pain again. We almost took a trip to the hospital, but I was in too much pain to make a 1 hour car ride into Savannah at 3:30am. When Brandon tried to lift me to carry me to the car the pain was unbearable, so I made him put be back down. Luckily after my fever broke, the pain eased so that I could get a little rest. Brandon was very worried, and truthfully so was I, so I have just been taking it easy and not doing anything too strenuous since then, but I feel better today. Thank you all again for your prayers. I can feel them and I love you all! Please keep my friend, Olivia from Simply Sunshine and Daisy's, in your prayers still. She had complications during her surgery last week and I am worried about her. Olivia-if you can read this-we love you and we are pulling and praying for you. Hang in there, girl, the world needs you :) "Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security." Jeremiah 33:6
