UGA vs. GA Tech

With a 7:45pm kickoff and a low of 31, we knew it was going to be freezing at the game! I can't believe our football season has already come to an end. We love going to football games so much and it gives us something to look forward to almost every single weekend during the fall. After the season is over we sort of mope around and try to figure out what to do with ourselves on the weekends. Brandon is on-call 3 out of 4 weekends in December-including Christmas weekend, so I guess we are pretty much stuck down here for a while. We have a wedding to go to on his only off weekend, and it is another 100 miles south of here, so unfortunately it will be a while before we get to see any family. Not sure why he was there, but very cool nonetheless. Charles Kelley from Lady Antebellum was also there, which really delighted me since I am seriously obsessed with their music! Georgia produces so much talent it's crazy!!Back to football, though. We froze ourselves to death at the game and we definitely dressed for the weather, which is why I look completely ridiculous. All that aside, the game really was very exciting to watch, which made up for the cold air. {My beautiful cousin Sarah was able to come to the game with us, too. Brandon's mom was sick and couldn't go at the last minute} Thank God Georgia was able to pull out a win over Tech. I seriously can't stand Tech. I'm sorry if I offended anyone out there, but I just can't help it. It's hard playing a non-SEC team-it's just very different than what we are accustomed to.After the game all the UGA fans were chanting "One more year" to AJ Green. HA! We'll see about that. I guess it doesn't hurt to hope :)Can't wait to watch the Dawgs and Vols play again next football season! Until then we'll just root for the SEC and watch the Bowl Games! :) Oh, and we'll enjoy this fabulous wreath I made to hang on our front door in Athens. This was the first wreath I've ever made all by myself without my Mama's help, and now I'm addicted :)
