Happy Thanksgiving!!

I hope each of you had a tremendously blessed Thanksgiving spent with loved ones! We were so incredibly thankful to be able to go "home" and share the holiday with our families. We do not get to travel home for Christmas, as Brandon is on-call, so this was a special treat for us. There really is so much to be thankful for. Our families are so large that we usually have 4 different Thanksgiving dinners to attend in 2 days, but this year we lost a very dear family member to a long-fought battle with cancer at age 72, Mr. Charles Ingram, Brandon's maternal great uncle. Due to the loss and funeral arrangements, we had 3 Thanksgiving dinners and a funeral to attend. We always eat at my Nana's on Thanksgiving Day around noon. After we left my Nana's we went to Brandon's dad's family Thanksgiving, which had a tremendous amount of delicious homemade food as well. Food line: turkey, ham, dressing, gravy, green beans, macaroni and cheese casserole, sweet potato souffle, potato casserole, cranberry sauce, corn, deviled eggs, rolls and a tone of desserts including pumpkin pie, German chocolate cake, millionaire pie, cherry crumble and more. We eat good in this family! :)Cousins eating and cutting up like we like to do!Brandon and our precious niece, Molly the PugThese two...I could write a book. I feel like I married my sister most of the time. They are so much alike it is scary-much like this picture! All the cousins :) I love my family so much! The girls: Me, Courtney, Sarah, Tiffany, and AnnaThe boys: Brandon, Logan, Josh and BradMy Mama with her daughters and son-in-lawsMy aunt Sharon, my Nana, my Mama, and my aunt Margie-4 beautiful women!! On Friday night we all go to my Papa's house for Thanksgiving dinner #2 for my family. It's absolutely glorious to have such a big family! We sometimes eat at the Fellowship Hall of Nimblewill Baptist Church since our family is so large. Plus, my Papa built that fellowship hall, so it is very sentimental. He also built his own house, too-he was a custom home builder. They already had the FH decorated for Christmas :). We had chicken casserole, macaroni and cheese casserole, deviled eggs, green beans, sweet potato souffle, rolls, fruit salad, pineapple casserole and a whole table full of delicious desserts-ALL HOMEMADE-and yes, I need to get on a strict running regimen after this week!Papa and baby CalebEating! The cousins with our wonderful Papa and (below) my beautiful sister and me."Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world." Isaiah 12:4-5
