Thank You! and Questions?

I just wanted to take the time to THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WHO FOLLOW our blog!! My blogging style is a bit different than most, mainly because the purpose of this blog is different. I know I never link up and do "Top Two on Tuesday, Wordless/What I'm Loving Wednesday, Pink & Green/Thankful Thursday," etc. Please don't be offended by that. This blog did not start out as a hobby or pastime for me, it started out to simply keep our family and friends updated on our lives after we got married and moved away for school. I do not intend to stray from my original purpose in creating this blog. Our loved ones aren't that concerned over the latest trends, fashions, pictures of random people/models, and all that other stuff. They want to know what is going on in our lives, and that is what I intend to continue to do-keep them posted, especially now that we live even farther away from them all. Please know that I thoroughly enjoy reading all of your posts on fun things and from time to time I'll slip in a post like that, too, because it is fun. That being said, I never dreamed that I would have over a hundred people following this blog. I know many of you have hundreds and even thousands of followers, but I am so thankful to have the ones I do have and I hope you are so happy with what you read. I love you all and I pray that you find some sort of blessing in reading Southern Soul Mates. So many of you have blessed my life beyond measure and I have made some true friends through blogging and I feel overwhelmed with appreciation. I LOVE MY FRIENDS/FOLLOWERS!!!!!!!! I was tagged by Michelle at Joyful Journey to answer these questions! 1) What's one moment in your life where you knew that God was really with you? I don't believe there has been just one. I know He is with me every moment of every day, and there have been so many major events in my life that I know He had His hand on me. 2) Finish this sentence: One day, I would like to ______________________. Be a mama, have a beach house, have a farm, have lots of grandkids, build my dream home... 3) If you could meet any one person for lunch tomorrow, who would you choose? If anyone, then Andy Stanley so that I could ask him some very important questions about my faith...but if someone I know personally, then my best friend, Meg. She lives 3 hrs. away now and we've been used to living across the street from each other for the past 4 years. I miss her terribly. 4) What's your current favorite song? I always have about a thousand favorite songs. If you know me and answering these questions, then you know there are only a few things I believe in having only "one of"...which are: serving one God and having one spouse. Otherwise, I shouldn't have to choose. Back to the question-I mainly listen to my iPod, and these are on my top: Overcome by New Life Worship, Chances by Five for Fighting, The Man Who Can't be Moved by The Script, Anything by Luke Bryan, Lady Antebellum, Train, and the songs on my blog playlist :)

  1. I just love reading your blog :)

I'm like you...I have lots of favorite songs!

Hope you're having a great day!

  2. You have no idea how awesome it is for a mother-in-law to have a special "daughter" to keep us informed of life as it unfolds from long distance! You are truly a blessing from God and I am so blessed to be an active and involved part of it.

  3. We love you too! I really do enjoy reading your blog posts, and am thankful to have found your blog.

I get so stressed out whenever I have to pick one favorite song or movie or whatever- I have too many!

I sure do love hearing from y'all-you make my day!
