Snapshots of Daisy, GA

This little community we live in is but a tiny dot on the map, but it sure does have a big heartbeat! I just love small southern communities like this, don't you? Daisy was once a prosperous trade center after the railroad came through in 1890. Cotton was ginned and turpentine was stored in barrels alongside the railway for easy shipment to factories. Caboose comfortably situated in the middle of town The town hall pictured above was once the office of Dr. George W. Ellarbee. The Post Office was officially established on July 31, 1890. "May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples." Genesis 28:3
