Q & A About Me

I was tagged by my sweet friend over at Polish and Pearls to answer these 8 questions about me :) Here's what you are supposed to do- answer the eight questions that the person who tagged you made up, then make up your own NEW eight questions to tag others to answer. Whoever I tag will answer the eight questions I make up for them, then they create a new set of eight questions to tag a few others with, and so on! But, I get all confused with keeping up with who has been tagged and who hasn't and I'm always on a time crunch, so I'll just answer these questions about myself for your enjoyment!
1. What scent/smell brings back the strongest memories for you? For some reason I always recognize perfume scents that certain teachers I had in elementary school wore...also certain colognes that past boyfriends wore
2. What's your favorite city and why? I don't have one favorite of anything. I can't choose. I love so many things. I love Charleston, Savannah, New Orleans, Athens-GA, Knoxville, Nashville, Portland, Seattle. I love southern cities rich in history and I had so much fun in Portland and Seattle when I visited there.
3. When your hair turns gray (if it hasn't already, lol), will you choose to color it, or go with the gray? Fortunately, I am a natural blonde, which means it will be a really long time before my hair turns gray, but I will always be a blonde :) My hubby likes blondes!
4. If you could eat one food item, and drink one beverage, for the rest of your life, what would it be? Wait, didn't I just make a comment about choosing only one thing? I don't have to choose one thing...I love fruit, whole wheat pasta, salad, seafood, and water to drink.
5. What is your absolute biggest pet peeve? Here we go again. I don't have just one. One is not in my vocabulary! My husband says I have more pet peeves than anyone else in this world. Here we go: listening to people eat/crunch their food-yikes!, people who don't have manners/know rules of etiquette, things that aren't organized/color coded/alphabetized, chipped nail polish-gross, dirty cars/houses/really dirty anything, long nails/toenails-especially on men, people who broadcast every move they make on facebook-who cares?!
6. What do you consider your biggest flaw? I am very critical of myself.
7. What is the biggest life lesson that you have learned through experience? 1. Moving away from your hometown can be the best thing that ever happens to you whether you go back or not. Experiencing other ways of life and other people help you develop as a person. I was able to overcome so many things by leaving my comfort zone. 2. I have also learned that some people will never be who you want them to be. Accepting people for who they are regardless of how they treat you is a mirror of how God accepts us regardless of how we treat Him. 3. I also know that when you meet the right person, you just know when you know when you know when you know and everything works out for the greater good :)
8. When you put a new roll of toilet paper out, do you let the loose end hang from the top of the roll, or out from the bottom? Definitely loose end hangs from top. It's rude to leave it hanging out from the bottom! -that's me opinion hehe-and I have been known to change it at other people's homes and I simply say to myself, "Bless their hearts, they just don't know any better." I know that is so awful of me!

  6. Your pet peeves cracked me up :) I think we probably all have a lot if we are honest. However, my toenail polish is chipped right now and my big belly makes it hard to fix them :)
(btw, all your quick & easy meals look super yummy too! We don't do fast food either! I'd love your chicken parm recipe :)
