Dawgs Disappoint in Columbia, SC

Friday evening Brandon and I headed up to Augusta to stay with one of our best friend's, Elaine Davis, and we had so much fun! She took us to eat mexican at a place called Monterrey's that she's always raving about-it was really good, Elaine! I don't have any pictures of us though :(. Saturday we met Brandon's parents on I-20 and hopped in the car with them and headed to Columbia. Traffic was pretty awful so we ended up getting there much later that we anticipated. These noon kickoffs are tough! By 11 a.m. we were parked close to the stadium and enjoying chicken salad sandwiches and people watching. Boy was there a lot to watch in Columbia! Wow is all I have to say! USC's campus and tailgating atmosphere doesn't have anything on UGA's! The 17-6 loss we took did not contribute to our experience in Columbia! The Dawgs need to focus on beating Arkansas next week! walking into Williams-Brice stadium-BTW parking was $30-what a ripoff! I'm so glad I love football as much as he does or else it would be a long fall! 9/11 tribute-was very very heartwarming-Amazing Grace played by bagpipes We had to pull out the ponchos during halftime-luckily it didn't last long! My wonderful in-laws I love my husband! "Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully." 2 John 1:18

  1. I think we would've had a chance if it wasn't due to that fumble! We'll just hope for the best next weekend :)

The poncho picture is priceless! And that dress is too cute!

Hope you have a fabulous week ♥

  2. You look so gorgeous in that dress! Glad you had a great weekend!

  3. ahhh you and your husband are so cute! looks like it was a fun game :)

  4. We have a Monterray's where I live. One of about 15 Mexican restaurants. ;) Cute dress. I must say though, I'm a Vols fan.

I sure do love hearing from y'all-you make my day!
