Bulldawgs & Friends

We left right after lunch on Friday and drove to Birmingham, AL to stay with our wonderful friends, Dr. and Mrs. Adam White :) at their new home. Adam is in residency in Birmingham at UAB-congrats to him! They have a lovely home and were so hospitable to us during our stay! Whitney's brother, Buck (on the far left), and his new wife, Jenna were also there visiting. We had such a wonderful time with them! Saturday after lunch Brandon and I drove out to Starkville, Mississippi to watch the UGA-Mississippi State game. One of the Bulldawgs had to win, and it wasn't the Georgia ones this time. We are 1-3 so far this season...I think some coaches may be looking for new jobs after this season-just a hunch. Despite the loss, Dr. Right and I had a wonderful time together as always. We just love tailgating and college football games :). We brought our sweet Sanford to the game to represent! Davis-Wade Stadium One of our goals is to go to every football stadium in the SEC. I have 6 down, 6 to go, Brandon has 7 down, 5 to go. We are both missing Kentucky and Florida (they always play GA in Jacksonville) in the East, and Alabama, Arkansas, and LSU in the West. We have been to the stadiums in Alabama and LSU, just not to a game. On the bucket list! Our temporary mascot, Russ, meeting the Mississippi State bulldog mascot I was still smiling after the game-I'm always happy at a football game! After the game we drove back to Birmingham to stay with Adam and Whitney again. Whitney was so wonderful and cooked breakfast for everyone on Saturday and on Sunday. She also made delicious Apple Dumplings that we enjoyed after we went out on Friday night. Whit-you're a fabulous host! Sunday afternoon we drove back to Southeast Georgia in the POURING down rain-the entire drive!! It is still raining here. I am not complaining, because Lord knows we need this rain! "The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none." Deuteronomy 28:12
