I'll Take Any Pool I Can Get!

I have been dying for a swimming pool in this south Georgia heat and humidity, which don't really bother me as long as I can get some relief in the form of a pool. I got desperate and finally found a pool that we can use an electric pump to blow it up (the one we use for an air mattress). The only down side is that ice cold water coming out of the water hose! But hey, I'll take what I can get. I will n.e.v.e.r e.v.e.r live somewhere that I don't have access to a pool ever again. I use a pool for exercise, relaxation, and a means of income. I was a lifeguard and swim instructor for 7 years. I love teaching swim lesson in the summer, and oh how I missed it this year. I really don't mind the upkeep of a pool. I think it's well worth it! Sanford enjoyed cooling off, too! Oh, and Brandon got to bring this sweet little guy home Friday night. He is the clinic kitten and the employees rotate bringing him to their homes on the weekends. He is certainly welcome to come back any time he wants to! We also had a great time visiting with some friends, Brandon's vet school classmates, over the weekend and had such a wonderful time catching up. And I am such a bad person that I didn't take one single picture :(. Other than that our weekend wasn't that exciting. It rained here all day Saturday plus Brandon had to work half a day. Hope y'all had a great weekend! "That day Isaac's servants came and told him about the well they had dug. They said, "We've found water!" Genesis 26:32

  1. Bless your heart! I take for granted that both my parents and my in-laws have pools to cool off in during the summer months. Sanford looks like a happy little pup, but I'd be afraid that his little nails would pop a hole in there!
