Happy New Year 2009!!
We hope everyone has a wonderfully blessed 2009! At this stage in our lives there is so much change constantly taking place. Between school, organizations, spiritual relationships and extra-curricular activities we live in a whirlwind kind of world. Time flies by faster each day and I often fell as if I'm clinging on to the threads of a quilt in the midst of a tornado. Trying desperately to savor and experience each moment to it's fullest before it gets sucked away from me. Maybe that explains my photography obsession-my need to photograph almost every move that is being made at each place we go. Yes, I have a hard time with goodbyes and letting go. 2008 was an incredible year for us in almost every realm. We didn't have much money, but somehow God provided us with just enough. We got to travel all over the U.S. for conferences, visiting Russell, and our beloved Mission Trip. We joined another small group through our church and got even more involved in our community. We experienced the loss of life at the beginning and the end of the year, yet we gained so much in between. Looking back, I am amazed at how much was accomplished in 2008. But, at the same time, I am looking forward to all of the wonderful things God has in store for us in 2009. It has a lot to live up to, but I'm sure it will happen. I am turning 23 on January 27 and graduating May 9, 2009. Brandon will turn 26 on April 19. Brandon will start his senior year in Vet School on March 1, 2009. I admit I am nervous about those last 14 months of school for Brandon. Not because he he'll be having the time of his life, but because there will be times when I'll go up to 3 weeks without seeing him. I've been trying to prepare myself mentally for that time, but I know it is impossible to completely prepare for those times. Anyway, this should be another exciting year full of new experiences and opportunities. My prayer is that God will continue to use us to do His will and to bless us accordingly as well as everyone else out there!
